Will's first baseball game!

We took Will to his first baseball game Tuesday night. (Kaitlin got to stay home & play with Lori.) He seemed to have a good time - stayed awake for most of the game & didn't even try to roll off our laps for a change!

Jimmy was happy because Will's first game was a Cubs game, Cubs at Tigers. We decked Will out in Cubs gear from head to toe. (The onesie is even a Cubs "away" onesie.) I brought 4 other Cubs onesies with us (yes, the amount of Cubs gear Will has in this size is insane) but amazingly, Will stayed in the same outfit the whole game. Sadly, the Cubs lost, which made fans around us say that we should get Will a Tigers hat. Boo.

Will rolls over - back to front

Will rolls over! It only took about 20 takes (over the course of a week) but he finally did it on camera (instead of waiting until we were all looking the other direction).

Growth check!

Will had his four-month check-up today - he's 18 lbs 10 oz (96%) and 26.38 in (88%). Amazingly, he's still on the charts! His head circumference is 16.34 inches (25%). As our pediatrician says, he'll be able to buy hats. :)

The photo on the right was taken a few days ago - he found his toes!

Gardening with Joyce

KG was given some marigolds at the farmer's market. We never buy flowers because we have black thumbs - luckily our next-door neighbor knew what to do (and had her own marigolds to plant)!

More photos on Flickr, including Kaitlin and Will looking like they celebrated Valentine's Day in June (she decided they needed to wear matching red pants yesterday morning to go to the farmer's market).

Growing boy

Put Will in a nine-month sleeper today (he'll be four months old in three days) and it fit. Sigh - maybe, since this was one of KG's hand-me-downs, it shrunk a little? Thanks again Karin for the loan of Colin's nine-month clothes!

Random updates - Will is "talking" more and more... he can roll over onto his side from his back and now spins in a circle trying to roll over (I fondly remember this stage from when Kaitlin was in it, right when we moved into this condo)... He can also grab the items hanging from the bar on his bouncy chair, by using his feet to move them into his hands... Kaitlin's new addiction is the Mickey Mouse show (and all things Mickey, she could care less about Minnie).

More photos, as usual, on Flickr.

The below video was intended to show Will driving with his feet - but he got all distracted by the camera & the dog. He does "talk" at the beginning, tho!

Two photos

Both of these were taken while riding the horse at Meijer. Had to put the two up for comparison! (And yes, these are actually two different horses. The old horse broke a few months back and the top photo is the new horse, which just arrived a month or so ago.)

edited b/c I can't add - KG is 29 months old, not 30.
