Happy 4th of July!
We celebrated the 4th of July by going to the Ann Arbor parade before naps and Domino's Petting Farm after naps. KG loved the parade - esp. the part where she got to have candy b/c it was thrown/handed to her - and had a blast at the petting farm. Will wasn't too sure about the parade (he was tired and the noise kept waking him up) but did manage to sleep all the way thru the trip to the farm.
Tons of photos are up on Flickr, these are just two of my favorites. We tried to get a family shot, but KG wanted to watch the parade - who can blame her! And she had her very first pony ride - as we were walking up to the farm, another family gave us a ticket for a free ride. We probably wouldn't have bought one for her (two year olds being the unpredictable creatures they are, I'm sure she would have changed her mind about riding once we got up to the gate) but since it was free, she loved it, of course!
